Today, I continue with my solo episodes and as promised, we will discuss one of our popular emails based on open rate, click rate, etcetera. This was from about six weeks ago, so if you are missing out on these emails, don’t forget to subscribe to our newsletter at profitablemusician.com/join.
The email I’m talking about is entitled “Your Music Is A Business. No Really…It Is!” Have you noticed that when I talk about you and your music, I often call it your musician business?
Why You Should Think of Your Music As A Business:
1. There are many benefits of declaring your business as a sole proprietor, especially when it comes to taxes.
2. You will take your music more seriously and put the work in because that is what business people do.
3. You will spend the money you earn from music more wisely because it is no longer extra money.
Congrats if you are already operating your music as a business!
You can send me an email about your experience as a starting business owner at bree@femusician.com
