I’m here to talk about the biggest catalyst in my music career. It wasn’t that I met some famous producer, nor that I had big connections, nor that I made the most amazing song in the world, or that I had something go viral on social media. It is mainly because I found a community of like-minded people who helped nurture me as a musician, an artist, a performer, and a businessperson to do this thing as a career.

I’ve had my Female Musician Academy since 2015. I want to share with you the reasons why I created the Academy.

Benefits of Being in the Right Community:

1. Seeing other people doing the same things I wanted to do. It gave me a place to not feel alone.

2. Having a place to ask questions when things came up.

3. Having a safe place to talk about things.

Join a community to avoid feelings of isolation and not having the right people to ask for help.
