When you find your soul’s calling, it’s easy to find yourself fighting the resistance to do things that will help your soul evolve. Sometimes you create excuses to not do the things that will move you forward.

As mentioned in The War of Art by Steven Pressfield, feeling this resistance to an idea usually means you are on the edge of a breakthrough. To learn how to set clear, achievable goals and reach them, get the free SMART Goals Workbook.

smart goals to soul's calling

soul's callingWhat people usually resist:

  • writing an email to fans
  • booking
  • creating promotional materials
  • researching contacts
  • putting yourself out there in social media

Signs of resistance:

  • binge watching Netflix
  • staying busy
  • using social media as a distraction
  • getting involved in other projects

Why do we resist our soul’s calling?

  • fear, self-confidence
  • not a market for what you offer
  • feeling too early or too late to the game

So what do you do to fight this resistance? The best plan of attack is to set goals and create a plan. I’m huge on goal setting so I am giving away the SMART Goals Workbook for free.  The workbook will take you from not having a clue what your goals are to having a clear plan of attack to achieving those goals.
