Host: Female Entrepreneur Musician Podcast
Music Business Trainer & Mentor
Founder & CEO – Women of Substance Music Radio & Podcast
Bree Noble quit her corporate job as a Director of Finance at a US top 15 Opera Company to pursue music. Besides allowing her to use her God-given vocal and songwriting talent, this career shift enabled her to spend more time with her two young daughters.
Bree had a successful 7-year run as a touring singer/songwriter including 3 album releases, several songwriting and artist awards including Best Female Vocalist at the Inland Empire Music Award (2007) and an opportunity to sing the National Anthem at Dodger Stadium in front of 60,000 people.
In 2007, during her time as a touring musician, she founded an online radio station, Women of Substance Radio, to promote quality female artists in all genres. During its 10 years on the air, the station became a highly respected and sought-after source of promotion for female artists, pursued by their PR agents and Record Labels. In 2014 the online station was transformed into a podcast which dominated the #1 spot on the iTunes New & Noteworthy charts in 3 categories for several months. The show has also garnered awards including the Podcaster’s Paradise Award. The show continues to gain new listeners on iTunes, Spotify, YouTube and more and hit episode 1,000 in 2019!
In 2015 Bree launched a 2nd Podcast, the Female Entrepreneur Musician (also #1 in New & Noteworthy), to serve the artists she had been promoting with Women of Substance. On the weekly show, Bree teaches marketing and business strategies for musicians and conducts interviews with successful Indie female artists and industry professionals that are both informational and inspirational.
Bree has become a pioneer for women’s voices in Podcasting. In fact she was recently featured in a Forbes article called “The Power Of Podcasting To Fight The Patriarchy.”
Bree has created a large, enthusiastic following of female musicians over the years. She made this community official when she opened the Female Indie Musician Community on Facebook in July 2016. By 2020 the group has amassed over almost 4,000 engaged members.
In January 2019 Bree released her book “The Musician’s Profit Path: The 5 Stage Blueprint To Create Massive Growth In Your Fan Base & Sustainable Income For Your Music Career.” The book has already garnered several 5-star reviews on Amazon and her blueprint for building a successful music career and sustainable business outlined in the book is being implemented by musicians around the world. This led to speaking opportunities as ASCAP Expo and The Taxi Road Rally plus writing opportunities for blogs like Bandzoogle, AirGigs and Soundfly as well as for the online and print version of Music Connection Magazine.
In 2020, Bree founded Profitable Musician, her new umbrella brand to help musicians make more money in 4 cornerstone income streams: recording and releasing music, performing and livestreaming, teaching and coaching, and recurring revenue. Her Profitable Musician Show Podcast debuted in November, 2020 to further that mission.
Drawing on her extensive experience as a musician and entrepreneur, Bree has created several online courses to help musicians learn to make a living from their music. Her most popular offering is an online training and mentoring community exclusively for female musicians called the “Female Musician Academy” and her “Rock Your Next Release” program.

I would like to join your mentoring program! I think this would really be helpful to me at this time. I just finished my first CD EP in March of this year. I was planning to sing one song from this CD for a fundraiser for a Christian organization but the event was postponed until September this year because of the virus. This was very disappointing for me because I was so excited about sharing my music and ministering through song. If you can in any way chat with me by phone, I have some questions about the CD before I sell it. Kim Krenik has told me a lot about your work and I really want to work with a Christian who I can trust my music with. I am really excited about joining your program and getting started on my next step!
Thank you Bree and I look forward to hearing from you.
